I’m just sharing a few more shots from S and P’s engagement session to show off some different ways of displaying photos on the blog. What do you think of these color blocks? I think they’re pretty as long as they’re used sparingly
By the way, I’m loving pastel colors lately. I must be ready for Easter and spring!
Thanks for stopping by!

My son isn’t always the most willing model, but if I let him climb on something (in this case, a chair), he’s usually good for a couple of shots. I snapped these yesterday and can’t help but think he looks like an Easter egg (striped romper is Janie and Jack, 2009). The second photo is classic Atticus; this kid looooves to chew on EVERYTHING, including a ball of twine apparently! I think it’s time to add some more dental coverage

This photo is from a few days ago in our backyard. He was checking out an airplane flying overhead.

I just wanted to share a photo I snapped during P & S’ engagement shoot (here) last weekend. For some time now I’ve been really fascinated with birds. Yes, birds. I’m not quite sure where this interest stemmed from, but it’s there anyhow (and somewhat of a secret, shhh!). This photo isn’t edited much at all and I plan to hang it in my hallway. I’m excited to showcase some non-portrait work in my home finally
Thanks for taking a peek.

It’s Valentine’s Day and what better way to celebrate on the blog than with a sneak peak of two people so in love? This pretty lady is a dear friend of mine and I’m so honored she asked me to do her engagement photos this past weekend (OK, maybe I forced myself into the job, haha). I can’t wait for the wedding in September– even if I do have to wear a sunflower-yellow bridesmaid’s dress. I suppose a spray tan will be in order
P & S, I hope you like your photos! I had a great time with you guys and am so excited to watch you two grow old together

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the Christening of a beautiful little boy. Baby “A” was surrounded by family and friends and the love enveloping him was amazing. I have to admit I had to hold back the tears more than a few times. I’m such a sucker for celebrations like this. I’m so happy I could be there to capture these moments for this loving and truly inspiring family.
I can’t wait to see what this little man’s future has in store for him
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.
