This past weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Miss D, a friend of a previous client.  She was such a sweetheart and totally worked the camera.  I love it when someone says, “I’m nervous and I need lots of direction,”–  then just owns their photo shoot.  I like to think I deserve most of the credit for how gorgeous Miss D looks in her photos, but truth be told, Amanda Valletta did a fabulous job with the makeup (yet again!) and it’s hard not to look amazing when you’ve got a rockin’ little body like this!  With that said, here are some sneaks peeks!

Enjoy!

With all these boudoir posts lately it may seem that I’ve switched my focus to these types of sessions, but really, I think there are just too many good looking women in Southern California.  Lucky for me they want to embrace their beauty and have me document it all !  I assure you, while this post is not family-friendly– I still love to photograph families and children :)

There might be a little more skin in tonight’s post than normal, but I can’t help but have “booty envy” over Miss G.  I just knew you all wanted to share in my jealousy, so I had to include this first image.  All together now– “UGH!”  This is almost enough motivation to get me on the elliptical tonight…almost.

Just a heads up– this session was done in the client’s home, which is always an option for boudoir sessions!  On the fence about booking a session due to a little nervousness?  I can come to you where you’re most relaxed and comfortable.  Easy peezy :)

We have a winner for our free session contest!  Instead of using a random number generator, I decided to let my 18 month old draw the winning name.  I thought it was much more exciting this way.  I wrote every name down on paper, cut them into slips and put them into a bowl.  My son did a great job and pulled out ONE slip.  How about the amazing quality of these photos?!?  LOL.  I was lazy last night and opted for my cell phone rather than my bohemouth Canon.  I promise not to use my phone to shoot your sessions though, promise!

We had 45 entries…

And the winner is…

Congrats, Kari Winship!  To claim your free session, please email me at info@aliciaqphotography.com!  I can’t wait to hear from you!

And thank you EVERYONE for participating!  This was sooo fun and we’ll be sure to do it again soon!  Be sure to leave a comment with your ideas for our next contest!

Warning!  The blog is about to get even hotter!  I can’t believe how lucky I am to have such gorgeous clients.  I got to work with Miss R last week for a long anticipated boudoir session.  She couldn’t make our January boudoir marathon as planned and I’m so glad we finally got her in front of the camera– ’cause she looks amazing!   Her photos helped me come to the conclusion that every woman needs a pair of boots like these, even if just for some photos :)    Happy shopping!  :)

Here are a few teasers!  Enjoy!

Do you have an upcoming boudoir session with Alicia Q. Photography?  Are you thinking about booking one?  If you answered yes to either question, check this out.  Boudoir photography doesn’t necessarily mean you have to wear lingere in every photo.  You can incorporate one of your man’s old ratty t-shirts like in these photos.  Doesn’t she look hot?  Now think of all the fun things in your closet or in your husband’s dresser.  The options are endless!  So be creative, be bold, and be sexy– in anything!  Other ideas are sports jerseys, mens work shirts and ties, old sweaters, mens boxers and wife-beater tanks, etc.  If you have any questions about what to wear, please give me a call or shoot me an email.  I’d love to chat :)
