Yesterday I spent time with an amazing family to photograph their new baby boy, Cruz, at 9 days old. It’s totally obvious that mom and dad are just smitten by him– how could you not be? I’ll admit, this sweet baby made me work for my money. He was adamant about staying in his parents’ arms but we did manage to get some great shots all by his lonesome 
And if you’re wondering, yes, these photos totally make me miss the days when my son was a newborn (sleeplessness and all). I’d like to push the rewind button for just one day

I love love green and brown. I use this color combo at least once on every newborn. Notice how long baby is– 22 inches at birth

This bride-to-be has already earned a spot on the Best Wife Ever list. I think it’s safe to say her groom is going to be completely stoked when she gives him a boudoir album on their wedding day! Is there any better way to start a marriage off right? I think not
I want to thank Chandra from Chandra Campos Makeup Artistry for the seriously AMAZING makeup AND hair. I hope to share some more of these photos after the wedding so you can all see Chandra’s incredible work and of course how insanely beautiful our bride is.
