If you’ve been to my website before, or “liked” my Facebook page, you’re probably very familiar with some of these images, as they definitely rank high on my list of favorites. I am so happy to finally blog them.

Courtney and Aaron’s wedding is what I like to call “rustic done right”. In the Pinterest world we live in, it’s easy to follow trends and inject popular aesthetics into your wedding day. It can also be overwhelming. I mean, there are SO many ideas on the Internet. A bride can get lost and consumed with choices when planning her big day. I think Courtney did an amazing job pinpointing her style and combining just the right amount of rustic charm and garden chic. The color palette was perfect and the details fit together like puzzle pieces.

Aside from its gorgeous styling, this wedding was full of love and joy and I remember smiling the entire day. I have a lot of fun photographing pretty details but it’s the people and the emotional journey of a wedding day that get me excited. My favorite part of being a Jacksonville NC Wedding Photographer is telling a story, and I can’t do that without capturing the smiles, the laughter, the tears and the connections shared by the people in front of my camera.
