Engagements

post filed in:

It’s no secret in the community of Jacksonville NC Photographers that THIS is one of the best locations in the area to shoot at. Spanish Moss, pine trees, patches of gorgeous lakefront beach, and perfect sunset exposure. I absolutely love Hospital Point. If it looks familiar– it should. There are other sessions here on the blog that were shot at this same spot. And for good reason; it’s stunning!

I met Miranda via email since she lives and works as a nurse in Louisiana, where she met Josh, a United States Marine. Josh is stationed here at Camp Lejeune so we planned the session to coincide with Miranda’s next trip. She had mentioned wanting to shoot somewhere that mimicked the beautiful natural parks in Louisiana, full of golden light shining through Spanish Moss. I sent her photos of Hospital Point, which sits along the New River, and it was exactly what she had in mind!

While I knew the location would be a hit, I had no idea how amazing these two would be in person. Miranda and Josh have such a natural, easy way about them. They move together with the same beat and fit together like puzzle pieces. I was one happy photographer!

Take a look at their session here and tell me you don’t just LOVE Miranda’s freckles like I do. I dare you! It’s impossible because they are.freaking.adorable.

Enjoy!
