I believe inspiration and joy abound in the simplest of moments and surroundings. We don’t need to climb mountains or brave dangerous adventures to create beautiful images. Sure, I’m always up for something new and exciting, but the people in front of my camera over the years have taught me there's magic and beauty in authenticity.
I started my photography journey when I was a kid snapping photos with a 35mm camera my dad gave me. I didn’t have an agenda— I just took pictures of the things and people I loved. I never imagined that passion for visual story-telling would lead me to college and then to a career in television journalism. Fast forward several years later when I found myself again, with a camera in hand— this time taking photos of my son and feeling driven to capture life unscripted.
Our days move quickly and if we aren’t careful, the best moments pass us by before we have time to soak them in. It’s my goal to create timeless images that allow you to hold on to those moments forever.

My son is probably the funniest person I’ve ever met! Atticus is known for his hilarious one-liners and his pulse on pop-culture! I think being an only-child has helped him develop a real sense of self and a charming, quirky personality. He leaves quite the impression!

My mom covered every wall with family photos growing up. Her love for snapshots is probably why I always had a camera in my hand. I inherited boxes and boxes of old family photos that I will cherish always. Some of my favorites are from my parents’ wedding.

I have a serious sweet-tooth but macarons are my favorite treat! If I see them on a menu, I have to try a few flavors! My top three are pistachio, lemon, and matcha.

When I travel, my favorite places to visit are cities and towns with lots of history. I’d rather spend an afternoon in a museum than on a tropical beach! Paris and New York are my top spots...so far.

To know me, is to know I am obsessed with my alma mater. I even have a tattoo of my university’s logo! Not only did I earn a degree after 4 years of college-- I also earned a lifetime of being addicted to college football.

As a military spouse, I've spent years far away from my family. That's been especially tough because I grew up in a huge, tight-knit group that loved (and still loves) to celebrate together. Being with my clients for their milestones and “best-days-ever” has added value where it lacked— not only in my life as a photographer, but also my life as a wife, mother, daughter, and sister. And for that, I am forever thankful and indebted.
The people I photograph are incredibly special to me, and that means I laugh with you, I cheer with you, and yes, sometimes I cry with you (those parent dances really get to me!). Also, my husband and I never had a real wedding (we got married in jeans at the County Clerk!) so I love delivering the types of images I would cherish if I had them for my own.
I don’t see myself as just a photographer, but rather someone who is invested in your love story beyond wedding day. Let’s be friends and toast to candid moments, crowded dance floors, and cake, of course!
