I was born and raised in a Southern California beach city and I’ve collected a lifetime of memories in the warm sand and glowing sunsets of San Diego. The Pacific Coast is a thing of beauty– one of God’s most magnificent masterpieces– and nothing beats a west coast sunset, right? Or wrong?
Guys. Let me be straight with you. We’ve lived in North Carolina for almost a year now, and I am confident when I say that these Crystal Coast sunsets are amazing. Yes, they are even more amazing than the SoCal sunsets. Surely this is treason coming from a San Diego girl, BUT it’s true and I can’t deny it any longer! North Carolina sunsets are magical and soft and make you feel like you’ve been wrapped up in a pretty plush pink blanket (say that 5 times fast, I dare you).
Want proof? Boom. Here it is. Take it in, my California brethren. This is one of 434,358 reasons why the east coast has my heart and I am happy to be considered an Emerald Isle Photographer.
