I consider myself pretty darn lucky to be able to photograph people in love on both the coasts. As a Jacksonville NC Wedding Photographer, it’s so nice to be able to travel back to San Diego so often to shoot weddings and visit family. I always make it a point to book additional sessions because honestly, the light in California is unmatched. Don’t get me wrong, the overall beauty of North Carolina is second to none, but that golden sun setting in the west is heavenly.
This month’s Blog Circle theme is “moody” and I knew these images from one of my recent trips to San Diego would fit the bill. I shot Mattie and David on Carlsbad State Beach on perfect day, complete with rich tones and a light breeze. It was truly magical. I love the warmth and romance this session evokes. I hope these photos make you feel something because they definitely speak to me.
