I’m so excited to finally share this gorgeous bride and groom session I shot in downtown Raleigh! Hayley and Chris have been married almost three years, but due to some uncontrollable circumstances on their wedding day (mother nature in NC can’t be tamed, y’all!), they opted for a re-do and I was the lucky photographer chosen for the job! 

We started our session at City Market, an area I just adore for it’s brick sidewalks and chippy walls! The charm factor is off the charts and it inspires me so much! It was a perfect fit for the lace details of Hayley’s dress and Chris’ denim and vest combo. I love the way these two styled themselves!

Throughout our time together, exploring Raleigh, I couldn’t help but feel giddy about how cute Hayley and Chris were together! She’s a country girl from North Carolina and he’s a city boy from Southern California– a match straight out of a romance novel!

After we spent some time at City Market, we headed to the Wharehouse District, which is also chock-full of character! I loved setting Hayley and Chris against grungy backdrops to highlight their glamorous yet rustic style! We capped off our session back at City Market where we could make Hayely’s dreams come true! She had always wanted photos with cafe string lights in the background and boom! We made it happen!

I seriously had a blast photographing these two and if given the chance, I would love to shoot all of my brides and grooms a few days after their weddings when time constraints aren’t a factor and stress-levels are non-existent. Hey– a girl can dream, right?
