The most rewarding aspect of being a wedding photographer is the relationship I build with my clients. I truly want to be their friend and for them to know I’m forever invested in their love stories. Thanks to social media it’s easy to stay in touch long after the vows are exchanged. It’s so fun following their journeys as newlyweds!
One way I honor my brides and grooms, while maintaining my relationship with them, is to offer a complimentary first anniversary session. This is a great opportunity to continue telling their story and to say “thanks” for the initial investment. I love shooting these sessions and couples are really taking to them! Anniversary sessions are gaining popularity for sure.
Ashley and Stevie were one of the first couples to hire me when I moved to Jacksonville. They definitely hold a special place in my heart and I would be my complete honor to photograph all of their milestones. When Ashley suggested eating their wedding cake at the session, I was so excited! It’s such a cute idea and totally Pinterest-worthy! We shot this session at Stevie’s family property and let me tell you– it was pure perfection! From the beautiful light to blooming azaleas, everything was just magical.
