Young love excites me. I can’t help but feel renewed and awakened when I see two hearts, so fresh and vulnerable, commit to something so powerful and amazing as marriage. I felt an extreme sense of honor when I photographed my little cousin Tony marry his high school sweetheart Jessica a couple of weeks ago. Tony had just returned from basic and specialized training for the US Army and was Alaska-bound when he proposed to Jessica. They planned a sweet little courthouse wedding in our beautiful home town of San Diego, and it was there on the steps facing the harbor that they exchanged vows and a promise of ever-lasting love. A couple of days later Tony flew away to Alaska where Jessica will join him shortly. I am so proud of them both and will be rooting for them as they make a home in Fairbanks and start their journey to forever. Congrats, cousins! I love you!
