After three years of living in North Carolina I can honestly say I still don’t understand the weather here. For real. It is seriously so bizarre! One day it could be 80 and sunny, the next 75 with thunder storms, and then 32 and absolutely frigid. When it came time for Kayla and Tim’s engagement session, we were offered up the latter. In fact, earlier in the day it actually snowed. Like, legit snowed in Jacksonville, NC and all over Camp Lejeune.
It wasn’t the weather Kayla had expected to find having traveled here from Missouri but you know what? We made it work and these two blew me away. The snow didn’t stick but temps were near freezing. When I saw Kayla’s little white dress, I was impressed. Obviously she rocked it flawlessly, but I was more amazed that she was prepared to handle the cold like a champ! Tim was such a trooper, too!
In the end I think we achieved a gorgeous set of images that exude happiness and not one bit of discomfort from the weather. I am so proud of Tim and Kayla for that! I gush about my clients all day, everyday, and this pair is no exception. I am so happy to have photographed them and I am sure they’re going to be the most beautiful bride and groom! Congrats again, y’all!
