Oh, sweet Haleigh and Graham. These two are a treasure and I knew it from the moment Haleigh and I started emailing each other. She told me how they met at church where Haleigh’s dad is a pastor and how it was her dad who actually set them up! Graham proposed on Easter Sunday right after service, in front of a wooden cross that he and Haleigh had decorated with flowers the day before. If that story wasn’t enough to make my heart burst, Haleigh sent me photos from the proposal and when I saw those smiles, I knew I would be absolutely blessed to photograph their wedding. When they decided to hire me, I did one of those high pitched squeals through a very teethe smile, and a quick series of palm-only claps at my desk. Can you see it?! 🙂
We shot their engagement session at Greenfield Lake in Wilmington and in various spots downtown. I love how Haleigh’s pale yellow dress fit in with the landscape of the park, and their second outfits for gave just the right amount of pop to contract with the downtown vibes.
I am so excited to see Haleigh and Graham get married! Thanks so the global Covid19 pandemic they’ve had to make some changes to their original plans, but y’all— with a love like this, it’s sure to be an amazing day no matter what. I’m pretty sure I’ll be squealing and clapping like a little kid the whole time. Congratulations, Haleigh and Graham!
