I love that my photography business has allowed me to catch up with old friends, schoolmates, and people from my past. Amy contacted me about photographing her wedding and I didn’t hesitate to say yes. We went to high school together (along with her fiance Ricardo) and she was always such a sweetheart, so bubbly and happy. I met with her and Ricardo in Balboa Park for an engagement session and we had a blast! It was so fun catching up and laughing. I’ve come out of my shell quite a bit since my teenage years and it’s always amazing to me how much more comfortable I am around my peers (funny how that makes life more enjoyable, huh?). I never got to know Ricardo in high school but it turns out we get along great, just like Amy and I do. I’m so excited for their wedding next month and am thrilled for these two. They’re very much in love and so darn cute together 🙂
